NHS Better Health promotes many apps covering everything from weight loss to couch to 5k.
Those signing up to Medway Council’s Oviva Weight Management programme will be given free access to the Oviva app to track your food and activity.
NHS staff have been given free access to a number of wellbeing apps to support their mental health and wellbeing.
This includes Headspace, a science-backed app for mindfulness and meditation, providing unique tools and resources to help reduce stress, build resilience, and aid better sleep. They have now extended free access to all NHS staff with an NHS email address until Saturday, 31 December 2023.
Unmind is a mental health platform that empowers staff to proactively improve their mental wellbeing. The tools and training can measure and manage your personal mental health needs, including digital programmes designed to help with stress, sleep, coping, connection, fulfilment and nutrition. They have now extended their free offer to NHS staff until Saturday, 31 December 2023.
The Stay Alive app is a suicide prevention resource, full of useful information and tools to help you stay safe in crisis. You can use it if you are having thoughts of suicide or if you are concerned about someone else who may be considering suicide.
